Session work may include the following:

• Remotely recorded guitars, bass, synths, piano, drums, percussion, backing vocals and more that are sent back to you via email. No need to travel and this service is available worldwide!

• In studio recording - traveling to the studio in which you are recording and performing the parts in real time at your command. Great for real time, on the spot changes and less back and forth via the internet. Travel fee may apply.

• Live performance - performing your tunes live! Count on Connor Daniel from 137 Productions to learn all of the correct parts and provide you with the highest quality session musicianship available. Travel and rehearsal fees may apply.

Beginners and even intermediate level musicians often find themselves faced with the question, “how do I get better, quicker?” While practice and patience is of the upmost importance, having a great teacher can make all the difference. With 15+ years experience as a multi-instrumentalist, Connor Daniel of 137 Productions can help you gain the skills and confidence you need to learn and improve. Learn from the ground up or improve your current skill level, learn your favorite tunes from most any genre and most importantly, learn in a way that is fun and motivating.

But, there are so many teachers to choose from… what makes this a cut above the rest?

Because we are a recording facility, you as a student will have the option of having your lesson recorded into pro tools* and emailed to you to review at any time you wish. This is also great for monitoring your improvement!

Some details regarding lessons:

• In person lessons are available at the 137 Productions studio in Los Angeles, CA and house-call lessons are available but do include a travel fee. Skype lessons are available worldwide!

• For in studio lessons, there is no need to bring a guitar or amp! You will have full access to any of the guitars and amps available here, providing you agree to use them with care. That said, if you would prefer to bring your own instrument, feel free!

• Types of lessons available: guitar (electric or acoustic), bass and/or audio engineering with Pro Tools. Want piano or vocal lessons? Contact us and we will forward you some of our top partners.

• Specialty genres: rock, pop, blues, metal, folk, singer-songwriter, hip hop and more.

songwriting + co-writing

Writing a song isn’t always easy and having a partner to bounce ideas off of and help you craft your perfect song can sometimes mean the difference between an album track and a single. Let’s look at the facts - most pop songs of today are written by not one, not two, but usually between 4-6 songwriters coming together to share ideas and piece together the song in question. As a multi award winning songwriter, Connor Daniel from 137 Productions can be that extra creative force you need to succeed. Whether it is simply needing suggestions on where to take your song, help writing a perfect chorus or hook, or collaborating on lyrics, you can trust Connor with this task. If you are an artist who prefers that others write for you, Connor can even take on the task of writing and/or producing the entire song! Send us a DI recording of your guitar and/or bass tracks along with a brief description or reference of the sound you’re going for, and we’ll send back re-amped versions of the exact same track using state of the art technology and top quality amplification. There is no sound we cannot come close to emulating, thanks to our Kemper powered rackmount.

video editing

Whether it’s editing together a music video, behind the scenes footage, or other content related to your music career (or other!), 137 Productions provides highly skilled and intricate video editing services. Syncing clips to down beats and changes in the music is specialty of ours, and helps create a bigger visual and audible impact on the viewer.
