If any of this sounds familiar, hear me out: in 2021, I began building custom IEM (in-ear monitoring) systems for bands + artists. These rigs are used by most professional bands and ensure that the sound you are hearing is consistent from one show to the next. A few benefits to consider:

• The sound person will love you for not having to burden him/her with the task of balancing stage volume with the front of house mix. 

• These types of rigs are especially great for running backing tracks, click and cues, as the built in system allows front of house sound to patch in directly to your systenm without any complicated set up. 

• Each band member can control their own mix without affecting someone else's.

• Mixes can be controlled via iphone/tablet.
