mixing + mastering

mixing:

No matter how important the recording process is, what it really comes down to in the end is how it is pieced together properly. Great mixing is taking each track and each musical element into account when applying a number of various applications, modifications and overall sonic improvements to them. Whether that means removing low end from a boomy acoustic guitar, adding Fairchild compression to synths for a warmer texture, or tuning a vocal so that it is pitch perfect yet natural, these elements and more are encompassed in the mixing process. Trust 137 Productions with your mix project and in house engineer Connor Daniel will provide you with a full analysis of what he feels your track needs while also taking into account any initial notes and references provided beforehand.

MASTERING:

The even sounding sonic scope and punchiness of your favorite hit songs… it is no coincidence - those tunes have been mastered. It is regarded by many music industry professionals and music listeners as the “icing on the cake,” that takes place after the mixing process. Rather than focusing on individual tracks of a mix, mastering encompasses the mix as a whole; adding compression, eq and more so that your music sounds consistent through and through, from one song to the next. Due to overwhelmingly popular demand, 137 Productions has officially added mastering as a service beginning in 2020. Using state of the art software from Izotope, Universal Audio, Waves and more, your master will be of premium quality. We are officially your one stop shop music production studio.
